About Me

Hi, I’m Ken Duncan Jr. I’m a photographer, writer, and storyteller based in San Antonio, Texas.

For me, creativity has always been about stories. Sometimes that means photographing a business, property, person, or event. Sometimes it means exploring the history and culture of a place through Between the Lines. Other times, it means sitting down to write something entirely from my imagination.

My work has taken different forms over the years, but the thing connecting all of it has stayed the same: I’m interested in people, places, experiences, and the stories that might otherwise go unnoticed.

After building my photography business in West Texas, I relocated to San Antonio and began rethinking what I wanted my work to become. Rather than keeping photography, writing, and storytelling separated under different names, I decided to bring them together under my own.

Today, Ken Duncan Jr. is home to my photography and visual media work, Between the Lines, and the writing and original projects I’m continuing to develop.

When I’m not working on a project, you’ll usually find me exploring Texas, spending time with my wife and our dogs, taking photographs simply because something caught my attention, or working on whatever story has managed to get stuck in my head.
